Norastouches.blogspot.com
This other blog (see link below) was created to display my decorative items for sale. However as time passes by, the time to paint for sale just eluded me
No special reason as to why I still have this blog... maybe it's just to remind me..... that's where and how I started to be where I am now :)
All items shown are hand-painted personally by yours truly... but now I focus on commissioned jobs. So, I do take orders... but the queue is long... sorry :( .... but if you are willing to wait in the queue... I'm more than obliged to paint for you..... It would be an honour!!!!
My Painted Garden
Until I learn how to do the album...the language is still greek to me *sigh*... I shall have to be contented to show off just these few first....
I've always loved works by Ros Stallcup. Her free style is MY source of inspiration. What you see here in my first 3 paintings is styled against her works.
Painting a scenery is very fulfilling. Somehow the overall finished product usually looks good :)
Below are samples of other scenic views....
Painted this pail based on a kitchen towel set that Junaidah commissioned me to do. It now happily sits in her kitchen....together with the kitchen towel and oven gloves of same design

This was commisioned for a golfer. Had hooks fixed onto the plaque for him to hang his knick knacks.

Hi Nora,
Didi here. Congratulations on the posting of your blog. Great to see another friend putting their works and thoughts onto pen and paper (albeit electronically).
Didn't realise that you're an accomplished craftsperson. By the way, what digital camera are you using? The pictures should be brighter and more colorful but it's slightly 'overcast' and soft. Would have enjoyed it more if the pics were clearer and had more clarity. Having said that, the designs are nice. I'll definitely get some for friends and clients soon.
Didi

Dear Nora,
What a fabulous job! A Science lecturer with artistic "hidden" talent now exposed!! I'm sure the rest of the gang will be envious in the positive way! Congrats!
