I have been busy painting on furniture again... this time pink roses on a white base. Nothing much new... so nothing to really show actually. However... I managed to finish a scenery on a stool in betwe
en sessions of painting on furniture. It's a design inspired from a water-colour painting by Bonnie Heppe Fisher.
It was an old broken down rattan stool with torn rattan seat... had the seat changed and painted ... and now the stool is as good as new. The moral of the story here is.... never discard anything old... remember ya... anything that doesn't move can be painted on :)

salam...yupp...u are right Kak Nora....never discard anything old...lst week i accidentally broke the internal layer of my thermos aka jug...syg nk discard coz the body is still 'mengancam'..he..he...been thinking of giving to someone like u for painting...tp kat sini tak de...hu..hu..
try do it urself la ... if can't paint, then dress it w decoupage :)... cantik gak tau
decoupage dah byk buat dah kak...i started doing it somewhere in 2008..tp tk pandai2 gak..he..he...have tried 2-3 time follow donna dewberry..tp hampeh...stroke2 tu failed...mende ni kene berguru..tgkla kot2 ada masa...kenela tepek tissu...:(
yes u r rite rossana... decorative painting mmg perlu berguru... kne blajar handle brush to put in d strokes... once dh tau basic dh kire boleh adventurous buat style sendiri :) The first basic strokes very important... jika tidak berguru, nanti nahu n dengungnya salah lah pulak... agaklah susah nak baiki nnt haha... learn d strokes first...baru buat project... klu x pun upah la org cam akak ni utk buatkan hehehe
the poblem is akak dok kl & saya jauh di kuantan...kalau dkt dh tempah/bljr...nk pos rase mcm tk worth plak...

this painting is so very the beautiful. if only i can paint like dat or learn to or order u to do for me...
